The Glendalough Trail took place in Co. Wicklow on Saturday, October 31, at 11am. This is the sixth year of the Glendalough Trail, which now includes a 10km jog/walk option as well as the usual 15.5km run this year. This event is unique, with a carefully planned route through the beautiful Glendalough valley and a great variety of underfoot terrain. It is challenging to all, but also very achievable. Many people return year after year to try and get better times in the challenge. 400 people hit the ground running for this year’s event to raised much needed money to support research into treatments and cures for blindness. We will be donating one euro for each and every sale to Fighting Blindness.
